Mindbreeze once again receives the Web Accessibility Certificate (WACA)
Released on February 11, 2026
Mindbreeze has again been awarded the Silver Certificate for web accessibility by the WACA initiative and the independent certification body TÜV Austria.
During recertification, auditors reviewed a German and English use case in the Mindbreeze InSpire application. Mindbreeze still meets WCAG 2.2-AA requirements and has earned the Silver certificate again.
The following criteria must be met for the Web Accessibility Certificate Austria (WACA) in silver:
- The website largely meets the WCAG 2.2 - AA success criteria
- All content is accessible to all users
- The basic functionality is fully accessible to all users
- Parts of the extended/optional functionality are more cumbersome to use for some users, but still accessible
WACA is Austria’s first and only seal of quality for web accessibility based on the international W3C guidelines (WCAG). This official certificate from the WACA initiative and the independent certification body TÜV Austria is for German- and English-language websites in Europe and complies with the European standard EN 301 549. The aim is to ensure accessibility for all people on professionally tested websites, to recognize efforts toward web accessibility, and to comply with legal requirements.
