Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue (C5)
Mindbreeze has received certification for its Mindbreeze InSpire SaaS service in accordance with the requirements of the C5 (Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue) requirements catalogue, published by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). With Mindbreeze InSpire SaaS, the service is professionally operated on behalf of customers in Mindbreeze’s data centers. The C5 certification in accordance with the BSI’s requirements serves as recognized and reliable proof for all Mindbreeze customers, transparently demonstrating the high level of information security offered by the Mindbreeze InSpire SaaS services.
Since 2021, Mindbreeze has been audited in accordance with the BSI standard C5:2020. The most recent audit report was issued in April 2026 by PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Germany, covering the audit period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
The C5 certificate (ISAE 3000 Report Type 2) serves as recognized and reliable evidence for all customers using Mindbreeze in the cloud (Mindbreeze InSpire SaaS), transparently demonstrating the high level of information security.
The BSI’s catalogue of requirements specifies the minimum requirements that cloud service providers must meet. The details regarding the framework conditions of the cloud service serve to provide customers with additional information about the level of information security offered by Mindbreeze and ensure transparency regarding details on jurisdiction and locations, availability and fault rectification during normal operation, restart parameters during emergency operation, availability of data centers, handling of investigation requests from government authorities, and certifications or attestations.
