The Mindbreeze InSpire 21.1 release – our new features

The latest Mindbreeze InSpire update from version 20.5 to 21.1 has again introduced a variety of new features.
Below we’ve compiled a summary of the highlights included in the latest Mindbreeze release.

Sitecore connector

Our new Sitecore connector makes it possible for you to index all types of items, pages, and articles from Sitecore. Use “Template Names” to select the types of elements you want indexed, and in addition, you can filter elements based on their specific Sitecore metadata.

Export results: Support for data types in Excel

The new “Use Excel Native Data Types” option lets you save numbers and dates directly in numeric or date format. This way, you can use the corresponding values as an ideal basis for further calculations. Depending on the language and region selected, Excel also displays the values in the appropriate format.

SAML: Support for Shibboleth 4.0 (AES-GCM encryption)

From now on, Mindbreeze SAML authentication with AES-GCM serves as the encryption algorithm for SAML assertions. This means that Shibboleth 4.0 can be used as a SAML IdP for the Mindbreeze client service.
