2010 Spring Release

Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise
2010 Spring Release

Note:
As part of the standardization of our products, from this version onwards Mindbreeze Enterprise Search will be called Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise.

New Web Connector offers more options

The Web Connector integrated into Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise now includes additional filters for Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe Flash. Harvesting is also supported. That allows searching in defined areas of websites. Liferay pages e.g. consist of several searchable portlets (applications with specified content).

Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise including Microsoft Exchange 2010 Connector

Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise searches e-mails, calendar entries, notes, contacts and more. That works with Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007, and now also with the newest version: Microsoft Exchange 2010.

Data integration in Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise

Data integration involves combining data from different sources of the IT infrastructure and providing users with a unified view of these data. This process consists of several stages and can be implemented with a certain kind of software. The Data Integration Connector uses Talend Open Studio for the integration into the existing Mindbreeze infrastructure.

RSS and Atom feeds as data sources

Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise is able to search, for instance, mail servers, CMS and the company’s own website. RSS and Atom feeds are no longer exempt. With the RSS/Atom Connector they can be added as data sources to Fabasoft Mindbreeze Enterprise.
Web Client with customizable interface

Web Client with customizable interface

In the 2010 Winter Release HTML preview function was first introduced. Now it can be either activated or deactivated, for instance to support audit logs. The user profiles have also changed significantly; they can now be administered by the server-side, which facilitates defining standard settings within a company. At the same time, users can modify and save their own search settings and thus permanently customize the Web Client to their needs – similar to the views in many desktop applications.
