The Mindbreeze Enterprise Search Grid Architecture is a distributed web service oriented grid architecture that is capable of managing millions of documents in one distributed environment. With just one mid-sized server Mindbreeze Enterprise Search is capable of managing up to millions of documents and indexind speeds of up to 1 TB in less than 15 hours (depending on the underlying hardware infrastructure).
This raises the performance bar for enterprise search plattforms and helps to rapidly information-enable organizations of any size. Security

Through central and index services and comprehensive mechanisms to ensure compliance rules based on existing access rights, complete protection from unauthorized searches is achieved. Advanced techniques and a high performance and adaptive access check framework eliminates the problem of security context delays by checking against the original system. Existing access rights are applied to all information and are fully incorporated in realtime during the retrieval process. Mindbreeze Enterprise Search only processes those results that the requesting user is allowed to see.

Mindbreeze Enterprise Search delivers a transaction safe and fault-tolerant index, which is updated online, regardless of whether the index is in use (e.g. by a query process) or not. All information indexed can be found without any time-drift.

As part of our ongoing “Strategy 100” initiative, Mindbreeze provides full functionality and availability for both the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. “Strategy 100” means that you will be supported.

Seamless desktop integration

Mindbreeze Enterprise Search provides an integrated toolbar showing a "search box" on your computer's desktop taskbar. Simply start typing in what you are looking for and the Mindbreeze client window shows matching results from your computer, file servers and content stores inside the organization. Results keep coming while you type, providing a completely new interactivity with the search engine. The main window displays search results instantly and highlights the found search terms. Display more details with a single click or navigate through your result easily. It gives you an overall view of what's found with your query cutting the results in groups of similar content type, like e-mail, files, contacts, pictures or music etc.

Explorative Search: Navigate through huge data volumes

Mindbreeze Enterprise Search runs an online analysis of the search results and provides you with a timely categorized subset of search results, making the navigation through higher volumes of data a matter of a few clicks. Use the refinement and drill down techniques to refine your search based on given metadata.

Simple installation and quick setup

Enterprise Search can be installed within minutes, the guided setup procedure asks the user for the information items to be indexed, eg. e-Mails. files on the local PC or files on server computers within the network. Search is configured and available after the initial indexing run has completed. The whole setup is typically done in less than an hour on desktop computers. The server side setup is done within the same time.
