Users & Passwords
You are working using the developer user account. The password for this account is developer.
The password for the user account root is developer as well. You will only need root access to view log files for example.
What software is available on the VM
We have installed
- Fabasoft Mindbreeze InApp (www.mindbreeze.com)
- Fabasoft app.telemetry primo (www.apptelemetry.com)
so you can start using the software immediately.
For easy access to the applications we have stripped down the applications menu to a few entries.
Firefox Web Browser
Firefox is your primary application to view the Fabasoft Mindbreeze InApp documentation, Fabasoft Mindbreeze InApp, Fabasoft app.telemetry, and a WordPress blog in this VM. You can access the individual pages using the bookmarks toolbar.
Eclipse
You will use Eclipse to develop our WordPress sample. We have set up the workspace already. You have everything you need available.
Terminal
Terminal is included for compilation and installation of plugins. In addition Terminal can be used to view log files or to clean up your VM.
OpenOffice.org Calc
Some of the Fabasoft Mindbreeze InApp services use the CSV format for log files. You can open these files with OpenOffice.org Calc.
Text Editor
A basic Text Editor for viewing log files, or editing a document quickly.
File Browser
